NASA Cancels Trip to Supply Hubble, Sealing Early Doom.

Savor those cosmic postcards while you can. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration decreed an early death yesterday to one of its flagship missions and most celebrated successes, the Hubble Space Telescope. Wasting not only the big eye in the sky but also $200 million worth of instruments that had been built to be added in the later shuttle mission will be left on the ground.

Dana Point Headlands

A proposal to develop a hotel and more than 100 multimillion-dollar homes at Dana Point Headlands, one of the last large undeveloped oceanfront parcels in Southern California, was approved last night by the state Coastal Commission.

The Illegal-Alien Crime Wave

In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens.

Meanwhile, back at our Nations Capital, President Bush wants to give them all amnesty....

Go figure... Guess he wants to be Joe Davis when he grows up....

A billion is a difficult number to comprehend,
